The Science and Education Endowment Fund is the first endowment fund in Kazakhstan created under the new legal model. Its founder is Alageum Electric.

On 1 September endowment funds were named a key element of the education ecosystem

On 12 April a separate law on endowment funds was commissioned
A new law
The Law on Endowment Foundations and Endowment Funds was signed and took effect on 1 September 2025
The Fund is created
